Check this out. Ya know how most bills proposed by politicians seem to be named the opposite of what they are? "Affordable Care Act." The Affordable Care Act is not affordable and became known as ObamaCare. The American Health Care Act is not American and will no doubt become known as RINOCare. Then RINOCare 2.0. Then 3.0. <insert face palm here>

We Need To Get Back To The Standard Of Conservatism
“What is conservatism? It is a derivative term: it refers to something outside of itself. We cannot conserve the present or the future, and the past being full of contradiction, we cannot conserve it entire. In the past one finds heroism and villainy; justice and injustice, freedom and slavery. Things in the past are like things in the present: they must be judged. Conservative people know this if they have any sense.

If American conservatism means anything, then, it means the things found at the beginning of America, when it became a nation. The classics teach us that forming political bonds is natural to people, written in their nature, stemming the divine gift they have of speech and reason. This means in turn that the Declaration of Independence, where the final causes of our nation are stated, and the Constitution of the United States, where the form of government is established, are the original things. These documents were written by people who were friends and who understood the documents to pursue the same ends. Taken together they are the longest surviving things of their kinds, and under their domain our country spread across a continent and became the strongest nation on earth, the bastion of freedom. These documents do not appeal to all conservatives, but I argue that they should, both for their age and for their worthiness.”
- Dr. Larry P. Arnn, President, Hillsdale College. Imprimis December 2016 Volume 45, Number 12
If the Republican Party is the party of conservatism then who in thee hell came up with the idea ObamaCare had to be replaced after repealing? Why do the Republicans even want to touch a socialist program?! Don’t they see they’re setting themselves up for failure?! Giving the Democrats material to have history blame the Republicans for a failed attempt to replace the impending disaster known as ObamaCare? So what if it’s better than ObamaCare! You can’t fix socialism with socialism! I listen to a lot of talk radio. Local and national shows. It blows me away so many people (conservatives) call in to talk about how to fix this. But then encourages me to hear many more saying, “There’s no fixing this!” It’s a socialist program. It denies liberty. That’s what we used to have! Where’s the free-market? The AHCA is unsustainable. This, as ObamaCare was, is based on “projections.” What's this? Have our politicians devolved into being psychics now? The Dems sure missed it with the projected enrollments of ObamaCare. And enrollment in that progressive program was mandatory!
The Affordable Care Act Needs To Collapse On Its Own
I’ve been hardset on letting the ACA collapse. It’s the only way for those that don’t really know what this country is about, how strong it really is and how dangerous the attacks we endure of the socialist encroachment (encrustment) on the original intent of the founding that the Democrats keep unleashing on us are. The Democrats own it. Let them have the blame for its failure. With no wiggle room.
And then I heard President Trump talk about it. I was amazed he thought the same as I. That it should be let alone to collapse. But then he added there were too many people dependent on it, that allowing it to collapse would hurt them. I felt reproved when I heard that. It made me think of those that felt they had no choice. It really would suck for them. But whose fault is that?! It really sucked for the folks that had lost the insurance they liked when ObamaCare kicked in. Some died because of it. I’m sure you didn’t hear about that on the MSM. I know the Democrats have already got their victims lined up to protest whatever changes are made to their precious ObamaCare. Hell! Some of them are probably already dead! As registered Democrats! This attempt at experimenting with social engineering on the American people by the Democrats has screwed us. Period.
How Is America Going To Learn If It Doesn’t Take Its Lumps?
Where did we even get the idea we “have” to have insurance? I’ll tell you where it came from. Socialism. Through union negotiations over generations for health insurance as employment “benefits”, we have gotten used to the idea in our time and desire it from companies we work for. Using jealousy to breed selfish desire as a fungus can be bred in a petri dish, the Democrats today have elevated that work related benefit to a civil right in many people’s thinking. And not only that, but that only government can administer this properly. (So that eeeeverybody benefits. Is this based on how well our veterans are taken care of? Like they've been sooo good at that!) For one thing insurance is for catastrophes. And another thing, where is it in the Constitution that you have a right to not have to pay out-of-pocket for doctor visits? That’s how it was when I grew up. Like everything else. Pay as you go. Just like a car repair, or calling a plumber. Or any service! In a free market the best services with the best reputations and the best prices rise to the top in a community. Government involvement is nothing more than a socialist, money making, tax siphoning scam. Health care insurance is not a right any more than auto repairs are. Check your copy of your Constitution! That is NOT American! It is liberal counterfeit compassion is what it is. I haven’t had insurance for 20 years. I had it on my kids while they were minors but I’ve been out-of-pocket since before that. I used to be in the VA but quit going when I saw others needed it much more than I. I have no desire to be more weight on the system. I (and apparently I wasn't alone) refused to submit to the law that I “had” to get insurance by a federal mandate placing hope on the Republican promise to overturn it if they could take the House. And then… the Senate. And then… the Presidency. The GOP offered us RINOs for Presidential candidates against Obama. Eight years later, this is what we have. Witnessing the Republican Party going progressive.

Maybe It’s Time The Tea Party Became A Party Of Its Own
