Dave has always had the ability to captivate this reader within the first few sentences of the first paragraph no matter what the subject. To me his style of writing is the perfect combination of "good ole boy" and "the professor" all rolled up into one entertaining storyline! He's equally enticing writing about growing vegetables in his backyard garden as he is about some historic event. Adding layers of personality and knowledge from the beginning of the story to the end. I'm glad I stumbled onto his writing years ago and have sure enjoyed the journey his stories on my computer screen have taken me!

Dave, your blogs are very enlightening as well as universally perceived. You have a unique and articulate writing style and you don't just blog about stupid every day crap. It's always something that makes me think about things that I always forget to think about. I find myself captivated and pretty much reeled in by a lot of what you blog about and I know a lot of people who should read them so they might discover something beautiful that they had not previously known or thought of.
